When you decide to have pancakes add the water and the margarine in the bag, seal it and squeeze it to remove lumps. Then cut one corner and pour into a hot pan. Cook until they become golden brown.

This an easy breakfast that will give you the energy to walk all day. Boil a cup of water, add the mix and cook until the oatmeal is soft enough to eat.

Snacks are recommended rather than having a big lunch on the trail. Stopping for a longer time can lower your energy and make your body feel lethargic. There is a risk that after a big lunch on a trail you’ll get lazy and can’t walk anymore. That’s why short stops and snacks are a better choice to keep you going.
