When you’re in nature, it’s hard to compete with the soundtrack it provides. The calming sounds of birds, running waters, and rustling leaves are some of the reasons why we escape far away from our busy city lives and go outdoors to relax.
Even though nature can give us the most incredible melodies, there are times when we want to put on our headphones and enjoy our own music playlist.
When I started hiking, I found the experience of being in nature and relaxing to the sounds of the birds and trees inspiring and amazing. But, after a while, I started listening to music while I was hiking the trails. I realized that the music helped me with my pace, and I got motivated to walk longer. I figured that I can still enjoy the sounds of nature when I was making stops.
Music is a compelling part of a camping trip as well. There is no better way of ending a long walk than to sit around a crackling campfire, cook a good meal, and play an acoustic guitar, or listen to your favorite soundtracks.
Whether you go out to run, hike, a camp for few days, or just spend few hours in the park, music can make the experience better and more fun. Here are few playlists to pack along on your next outdoor adventure.
Although you might believe that the sounds of nature are better than any music, sometimes a longer hike is more pleasant with the right music. With some upbeat, but still, with a relaxing feeling, this playlist is excellent for your next hike.
When you go camping you want to get away from technology, everyday hustle, and the noisy cars. Camping music often reflects those feelings. If you want to enhance the quiet of nature, this playlist contains music that will help you relax around the campfire.
With the adrenaline pumping, you’re by yourself, the trail, and your bike. As you dodge between trees and boulders, you want music that makes everything more exhilarating. All you need is an upbeat tempo and some hard rock sounds.
Being away from the mainland and riding the waves is an amazing experience. Get in the surfing mood with relaxing music, from reggae to acoustics, with some vibe from the 60’s.
As you cruise along the trail, all you need is the right beat. You need some music that’ll push you up the hill and around the corner with intensity. This playlist will give you some techno tunes, DJ mixes, and some upbeat classics.
The great Dick Clark said, “Music is the soundtrack of our lives.” So, it makes sense that when we enjoy the best of what life offers, like hiking, camping, to spending time with friends the proper music makes all the difference.
Hopefully, these playlists will provide you with some great music for your next outdoor adventure. We encourage you to add your favorite music, and even create your own playlists.
