One of the must-see beach spots on the East Coast is the city of Myrtle Beach, which sits on the 60-mile Grand Strand in northeastern South Carolina. The place is perfect for active family vacations and people who like to spend time in amusement and water parks. The city beach is a long stretch of white sand where you can spend endless afternoons relaxing and reading in the sun. While you’re there, grab the opportunity to take a couple of surfing lessons or to go sailing. Fishing is also good at Myrtle, so anyone who wants to catch some fresh dinner will be welcomed to try it.

Nantucket is an island in Massachusetts and is located only 30 miles from Cape Cod. It is one of the most charming spots in the world, where no cars are allowed and life goes at a slower pace. A trip to Nantucket is an unforgettable experience that will make you feel reborn. All the beaches on the island are perfectly windswept while the lighthouses stand tall and add a historic look to the area. The houses are grey-shingled, and most of them are surrounded by wild roses that create the perfect ambiance for an afternoon bike ride. Some of the beaches are good for swimming and others for surfing. Fishing trips are also available, and camping is not allowed on the island.

Kiawah Island has more than 10,000 acres of woodland and 10 miles of sandy beaches. It’s a coastal island where the entire family can enjoy a sunny and peaceful vacation. The beaches are sandy and only a short drive from Charleston. When you get tired of the Southern charm in Charleston, you can go to Kiawah and spend a couple of days or a week in its spectacular natural surroundings.

Southhampton is the most beautiful town in New York. Located on the South Fork of Long Island, Southampton offers unspoiled beaches, top-class restaurants, private homes, and a village center. More than seven miles of Atlantic coast with clean beaches intices visitors from the area to spend some good quality time in one of the most charming places on the East Coast. If you are looking for solitude, it’s good to know that Kiawah has secluded beaches that you can enjoy by yourself, and whenever you’ve had enough of the ocean breeze, you can go back into town for some art and culture.

East Hampton, New York

East Hampton is a favorite vacation spot for people in New York, and it’s easy to understand why when you see the white sand stretches. Perfect lobster roll dishes are waiting for everybody who decides to spend a couple of days in this charming East Coast town. If you are a dog owner, you should know that pets are not allowed on the beach between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. from May 15 to September 15 and should be on a leash at other times. The Main Beach is the most popular beach, and parking costs $30. If you prefer something more secluded, visit the Atlantic Beach, the Indian Wells, or Albert’s Landing. The restaurants in East Hampton offer a variety of different foods to suit your taste.

Cape May is one of the jewels of the East Coast and is dotted with colorful B&Bs and sandy beaches. It is a great place to spot dolphins jumping around, so bring your binoculars. Cape May is one of the most popular East Coast spots for a family vacation. According to many beach lovers, it has some of the most magnificent sandy beaches in the country, starting from Higbee Beach to Poverty Beach. All the beaches in Cape May are clean, family-friendly, and close to great restaurants.
