They’ve got a great setup with 25,000 square feet of climbing surfaces so even if you can’t make it for the birthday bash it’s worth popping down for a climb and if it’s something you want to get into they do some great beginners classes and there’s a great local climbing community that will help you along.

Brooklyn Boulders (BKB) opened it’s doors in 2009 in the old Daily News Garage as New York City’s first ever climbing space. It started as a dream and was turned into a reality with a lot of sweat, some blood, volunteers and a new community fueled by passion.
