Here’s in the Outdoor Revival office we’ve just seen the news about the new Casio Pro Trek series watch and thought we’d get some of the press release out to you Casio fans.
The beautiful fall season is the ideal time for hiking and Casio America, Inc. is encouraging enthusiasts to get outside and explore their favorite trails with the help of its PRO TREK PRW3510Y-1.
“At Casio, we pride ourselves on providing the best technology for outdoor enthusiasts with our innovative timepieces,” said David Johnson, vice president of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “With advanced features such as our Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology and Tough Solar Power, the PRW3510-Y is a must-have tool for any hiker.”
The PRW3510Y-1 is water resistant up to 200 meters and comes equipped with a full auto LED backlight which illuminates in the dark with just the slightest wrist movement providing optimum visibility.
The PRW3510Y-1 also features Casio’s acclaimed Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology including a direction sensor for compass readings, a pressure sensor for altimeter/barometer readings and a thermo sensor. In order to keep users informed of any sudden pressure swings, the watch also includes a pressure trend graph and alarm.
The timepiece allows the user to easily check and record all the needed information on the outdoor conditions they may face on their hike.
In addition, Casio’s PRW3510Y-1 comes equipped with Tough Solar Power technology, which eliminates the need for battery changes. After one full-charge, it has the battery life of approximately seven months.
With its Power Save feature the watch will automatically power down when not exposed to light for a certain period of time, helping to further conserve the battery life and energy.
