TerraDrop is our offering for those of you with off-road tendencies. TerraDrop is styled to fit in perfectly with modern and classic off-road capable vehicles. It has adventure in its DNA!

While maintaining the exact same overall size as FronTear, TerraDrop manages to offer even more internal volume. So you get more storage space and more headroom to boot. TerraDrop can be configured from mild to wild, so it can be made to suite your needs and budget.

Chassis is made from square tube steel. Chassis comes powder coated with a textured black finish.

What’s so great about teardrop trailers anyway?

They are just plain FUN to camp in. You still spend much of your time outside, in nature – you know the reason you went camping in the first place.

Teardrops offer a very comfortable and secure place to sleep. You are off the ground in an insulated, safe, and cozy space.

They have an easy and convenient place to prepare meals. The rear galley is one of the most attractive and useful features of a teardrop. You can keep your galley stocked with non-perishable food, cookware, silverware, etc.

They look cool. Lets be honest, a big part of the teardrop lifestyle is the aesthetic… They’re sleek, sexy, and attention grabbing!

Teardrops can be towed easily by most cars. You don’t need to own a large SUV or truck to tow a teardrop. All you need is a hitch and correct wiring, which can be easily installed on almost any vehicle by a variety of service shops (we can help find one near you).

Towing a teardrop has minimal impact on your tow-vehicle’s fuel economy, due to their small stature, light weight, and excellent aerodynamics.

They have a rich and interesting history. It’s great fun to be a part of the teardrop revival movement, which is steadily gaining traction every year!

There’s a large, and growing, community of people who participate in the teardrop lifestyle. There are gatherings, shows, discussion groups, forums, clubs, you name it. Teardrop people are super friendly, laid back, and know how to have a good time!

Teardrops have a very low impact on the environment. Not just because of the fuel efficiency, they also make minimal contact with the ground. A tent has a relatively large contact surface with the ground, but a teardrop only touches at the tires and leveling jacks. Barely more surface area than your feet ever touches the ground!

They are conversation starters. People are attracted to teardrop trailers, so be prepared to be the center of attention at camp grounds, rest areas, gas stations, and even on the highway…

Teardrops allow you to get out of town fast! Keep your teardrop packed with all the essentials, and you can be out camping in no-time-flat. Just hook up to your pre-packed teardrop, stop at the local grocery store on your way out of town for your perishables, and hit the road. This makes weekend trips painless, and allows for more leisure time when you get where you are going!

Most teardroppers are set up within minutes of arriving at their camp spot, whereas tent campers have a significant amount of work to do before they can kick up their feet and relax.

Teardrops allow for much more aggressive adventuring than most camp trailers, as they will go just about anywhere your vehicle will. No need to stick to campgrounds, feel free to explore the back country without worry!

You can feel safe going on day trips or hikes when you have a teardrop at your home base. Our teardrops are fully lockable and you can even easily remove the tongue and coupler, so that it cannot be towed away while you are out enjoying your day.

We can’t speak for all manufacturers, our teardrops need very little maintenance and are built to last a lifetime when properly cared for.
