The most beautiful waterfalls in the US

Putting together a list of the best waterfalls in the US is a very subjective thing and not easy. This country is full of so much natural beauty it makes it very hard for us to decide which waterfalls are the best.

It’s worth pointing out that even if you don’t agree with all our choices these amazingly beautiful waterfalls will never disappoint you no matter how long you hike to get to them.

If you’re in another part of the world there are some amazing falls like Seljalandsfoss in Iceland

Waterfalls are often breath-taking and worth the effort to get to them. Here you can check out a list of some of the most exciting falls around the country and hopefully plan a trip to one or more of these amazing places.

Alamere Falls, California

The entire hike to reach this waterfall provides gorgeous scenery that makes you feel like you are walking in a dream. Being between the Pacific Ocean and Alamere Falls is an incredible experience that reminds you how powerful Nature is, and especially the potent force of the water. The sounds produced by the ocean and the falls at the same time are a real symphony for everyone’s ears.

The world famous, grandfather of all waterfalls in the United States, these gigantic falls can’t be compared with others in power, size or popularity. Niagara Falls are simply majestic and make you realize that you are just a tiny part of this big world.

We think that these waterfalls are truly great testaments to the power and majesty of nature, they’re located in beautiful areas of the country, so it’s not just a trip to visit the falls but rather you’ll be going to areas that you can explore and have adventures in.
