Once you’ve come to terms with the strange armchair protruding from the pink floral wall, your eyes can shift to his arms — which pose in the stereotypical position of a muscleman.

However, that’s where his appeal stops short. His fluffy, overgrown pot-cut hairstyle extends to his eyebrows, and his reddened face seems as strained as his flexed muscles. The shiny, pin-stripe pants are the cherry on top!

Russian women are known for being strong and resilient, adopting a no-nonsense approach to difficult situations. Tank trucks are used for various purposes, such as transporting milk or petroleum and sucking up sewerage. Depending on the truck's purpose, you may expect to see certain branding on the tank. However, as this image suggests, the content of Russian tanks doesn’t always align with the branding plastered on the side.

This ritual is typically done as a lighthearted and humorous way to celebrate a man's upcoming marriage and raise funds for the wedding — at least, that’s what we’re hoping is happening in this photograph!

On this particular day, the person stumbled across a young woman inspired by the darkness of Black Swan.

Public parks are very popular in Russia and play an important role in the country's cultural and social scene, serving as an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and providing an opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty and fresh air. Many parks in Russia are home to different recreational activities, such as sports facilities, playgrounds, picnic areas — and swimming pools!

While blow-up pools are a popular way to beat the heat during the hot summer months, you expect to see them in the backyard of a home and not in a public park. But not in Russia! Here, you’ll find people of all shapes and sizes relaxing in the communal water.

Considering Russia’s long history of seafaring and maritime trade, it's no surprise ships play an important role in Russian culture. It's understandable that they come in all shapes and sizes and judging by this photograph, these options extend to sculpted fish.

Considering that fish is a popular food choice in Russia, it shouldn’t come as a complete surprise that a fish would be carved as a fish, combining two of Russia’s favorite cultural contexts. But despite the connection, we wouldn’t consider this boat seaworthy (or tasty).

Just like cats, dogs have a special place in Russian culture and society. They are beloved pets that are cherished companions and adored family members. And just like some families take their love for cats to the next level, so do dog owners!
